Key Ingredients

Two Powerful, Research-Backed Ingredients

🌿

Targeted Probiotic Strains like Lactobacillus Plantarum, cited by NIH study

Targeted probiotic strains like Lactobacillus Plantarum — cited by NIH study — attract and cluster microplastics in the gut for effective elimination. A healthy gut microbiome is your first line of defense, and these strains help maintain the intestinal environment needed for daily clearance.

🌿

Organic Apple Pectin Prebiotic Fiber

A plant-based soluble fiber derived from organic apples. Research has identified pectin's unique ability to bind to microplastic particles in the digestive tract, supporting their natural elimination before absorption can occur.

The Science Behind PlasticBind

Peer-reviewed research confirms: targeted probiotic strains like Lactobacillus Plantarum act as microscopic magnets that attract, cluster, and eliminate microplastics from the gut.

PlasticBind contains targeted probiotic strains like Lactobacillus Plantarum — cited by NIH study — combined with Organic Apple Pectin Prebiotic Fiber to amplify the attraction, clustering, and elimination of microplastics.

Physical Adsorption — The Magnet Effect

Strains like Lactobacillus plantarum and Lacticaseibacillus paracasei possess rough surfaces and exopolysaccharides (EPS) that naturally exhibit hydrophobic and electrostatic binding. They latch onto microplastics, causing them to clump together into larger aggregates that cannot pass through the intestinal wall — supporting your body's natural elimination pathways before absorption can occur.

Research Spotlight

National Library of Medicine: Lactiplantibacillus plantarum Adsorbs & Excretes Microplastics In Vivo

National Library of MedicinePubMed CentralPMC11757873 · Jan 2025

Published in Frontiers in Microbiology (Jan 2025) and indexed by the National Library of Medicine on PubMed Central, this peer-reviewed study screened 784 bacterial strains and identified Lactiplantibacillus plantarum DT88 as a top performer — adsorbing microplastics at a 79.8% rate in vitro and driving a 34% increase in polystyrene excretion in live animal models. The strain also reduced residual microplastics in the intestine by over 67% and restored inflammatory cytokine levels to baseline.

79.8% Adsorption Rate

L. plantarum DT88 adsorbed polystyrene microplastics at a 79.8% rate in vitro — the highest among 784 screened strains.

34% More Excretion

Mice treated with L. plantarum showed a 34% increase in microplastic excretion rates compared to the saline control group.

67% Reduction In Gut

Residual polystyrene particles in the intestine were reduced by over 67% in animals supplemented with L. plantarum DT88.

Inflammation Restored

L. plantarum DT88 restored pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-6, TNF-α, IL-1β) to baseline levels in microplastic-exposed mice.

Adsorption

Specific lactic acid bacteria use surface proteins to latch onto tiny plastic particles like tiny magnets.

Prevention

This attachment stops microplastics from moving through the gut wall and into the bloodstream.

Excretion

Studies on strains like Lacticaseibacillus paracasei show that bound plastics pass out safely in stool.

Fiber Amplification

Organic Apple Pectin Prebiotic Fiber builds solid stool and speeds gut transit — amplifying the elimination of probiotic-bound microplastic clusters.

The Science of Daily Micro-Plastic Elimination

Your body is constantly exposed. PlasticBind gives your digestive tract the daily tools it needs to actively bind and eliminate environmental accumulation.

Step 01: BIND

01

BIND

Targeted Probiotic Strains like Lactobacillus Plantarum

Targeted probiotic strains like Lactobacillus Plantarum — cited by NIH study — use surface proteins and exopolysaccharides to attract and cluster microplastic particles inside the gut, acting as microscopic magnets that aggregate particles for effective elimination.

Step 02: CATCH & FLUSH

02

CATCH & FLUSH

Organic Apple Pectin Prebiotic Fiber

Organic Apple Pectin Prebiotic Fiber acts as a catching matrix for the probiotic-bound clusters — trapping the aggregates within its soluble gel and carrying them through the digestive tract, helping flush out micro-plastic particles before absorption can occur.

Step 03: ELIMINATE

03

ELIMINATE

Organic Apple Pectin Prebiotic Fiber

Apple Pectin also lubricates the gut lining and builds solid, well-formed stool — supporting smooth, regular bowel movements so bound micro-plastic clusters exit the body efficiently through your natural elimination pathways.
